Castle Claeys-Bouüaert — Attraction in Ghent

Very unpleasant people manage the castle. We were having picnic nearby on the lawn when sudden rain appeared. We ran to hide from the rain at the entrance of the castle and sat on the step in front of the main door, waiting for the rain to stop. Our 1 year old baby fell asleep on the lap of her mom and suddenly this elderly couple ( man and woman ) came in front of us shouting that we have to go away. I explained the situation and asked them at least to be quiet for the time we leave. They continued to shout in extremely rude way and we had to leave all of us under the rain. I don't know who these two individuals are, but definitely they ruin the Castle's reputation also as a cultural centre. Nice park. Lots of space to let the kids or the dogs run around to let them burn energy. Playground is nice but could use more trash cans...

Gewoon prachtig, rustig domein met gratis parking. Net buiten het park speeltuin, hondenloopweide,....in alle seizoenen mooi maar bij nat weer regenlaarzen aangeraden door de modder. De wandeling kan verlengd worden met een park naast de sociale planetenwijk. In het kasteel worden veel tentoonstellingen gegeven maar check de openingsuren.
