Domaine régional Solvay (Château de La Hulpe) — Attraction in La Hulpe

Beautiful gardens & chateau. Visited for a family wedding - what a place for a reception! Inside the chateau itself is beautiful - panelled walls, high ceilings & period furniture. Had a wonderful dinner & danced until 3am.

The next day we walked through the beautiful park & visited La Taverne De L'Homme Bleu for lunch. 5 minutes walk from the Chateau. Great setting, food & drink, though the staff definitely struggled with a big party (16) & service could have been better. Not enough to spoil the...

One of the greatest places near Brussels where you can enjoy a wonderful day with your family, your partner or alone, walking or cycling in nature, in an area that offers beautiful landscapes: large wooden areas, large open green areas, multiple lakes populated by ducks and wild geese. Such a beautiful place to enjoy a quite walk, to read a book or do some mindfulness. It is pretty cold and windy on winter time so I suggest to get some heavy coats. Also you can take a bit of bread with you if you want your childrens to fed the ducks that you will be finding all around the park.
