Glass! Be aware. At first sight, the beach appears beautiful. There were not many people and there was plenty of space to enjoy the pretty blue water. However, the sand is littered with lots of glass (recently broken, not sea glass). It is really a problem here and it was sad to see one of Bermuda's National Parks to be left in this condition. Almost the entire length of the beach had glass on it. Definitely wear some water-shoes if you plan to visit this beach. On a positive, it is only a 10-15 minute taxi ride from the docks. I realize the "glass beach" is nearby, but...

Beautiful clear blue water on a wild beach, with very few other tourists The sand is not as nice as Horseshoe bay beach and there is some broken glass you should watch out for Very cool wildlife preserve there with wild turtles that you can feed from the small dock located there , a local is selling tiny bags of frozen vegetables for $5., bring your own food to feed...
