Kuensel Phodrang View Point — Attraction in Thimphu District

One of the popular viewpoints in Buddha Point Nature Park. Is located a 1km or so away from Buddha Point and is below Changangkha - Buddha Point Nature Trail.

We can get good bird-eye views of Thimphu Valley. People also hoist prayer flags, and the hill has become beautiful with so many colorful Buddhist prayer flags.

There is a picnic table and bench if you want to have a meal or a simple tea-snack session with that view. However, it is windy and cold in the evenings.

Young couples or lovers in Thimphu go for dates. There used to be a nice canopy, but now it's no more. Take warm clothes if you go in the afternoons.

The trail going to it is wide, short, and well-maintained. We can also take small kids or dogs with us...
