Jil Jil's — Attraction in Região Geográfica Imediata de Porto Alegre

Jil Jil is such an incredible place, im still digesting (while I tell all my family and friends) the experience. I would give a 5 start to this place in every category. 🌟 5 stars to the food, that is slowly and carefully made with spices from India, bringing legitimately to its origin. The flavor is so rich that will definitely make you stop everything you were doing and thinking, to focus solely on your taste buds going wild with all that flavor! 🌟 5 stars to the service, that honestly resembles when you go to an amazing friend's home and the make you a meal with love. 🌟 A million stars (5 again to the engineers reading this) to Jil Jil's concept . This restaurant is a dream come true to everyone who seeks experiences rather than fast foods. I won't share much on how it works, because I don't want to ruin the magic of finding out.

This restaurant is my favorite spot for food! Do you want something sweet? Spicy? Savory? No problem, you can get it all right here. As you enter you can see the beautiful artwork created by the owner. Feel free to ask as many questions about it as you wish! Enjoy a drink while catching up with friends while the staff treat you like family. I hope you bring an appetite as I personally overeat every time I’m there. Honestly, there is no food as authentic as JilJils. As I tried to figure out any secret ingredients , I learned that many spices are from India. Not able to get that at the local grocery store! As a foreigner, it was such a nice feeling to be able to get wonderful food and feel like I was with family. From the many conversations with strangers to the personal chats with the staff/owners, from birthday parties with friends, to quiet brunches…my heart is full when I think of her, the food, and the atmosphere at this...

I am an Indian-American, and this is one of my favorite places to get Indian food ever (outside of India, of course)! I will go as far to say that this is the best Indian food in Brasil, hands down. The hospitality provided by Jilu is unmatched--she has truly created a beautiful community through Jil Jil's and the food she serves. From not only serving traditional and authentic Indian dishes and desserts, she also creates her own unique Indian-inspired dishes (like the Frankie shot, which is a personal favorite). The best way to experience Jil Jil's as a group is to order a bunch of different dishes and share them, family style.
