If my father saw Galeria do Rock at its best, I saw it at its worst. But that's in the past. Galeria do Rock has changed a lot but is the same at its core. Many of the shops dedicated to rock music and fashion have closed or were updated to appeal to a more varied target, keeping the place alive and vibrant with street and youth culture. Galeria do Rock was featured in a soap opera, which was (in my opinion) vital to draw the kids attention to it, giving the mall a breath of fresh air since it was only attributed to rock culture since forever. I like Galeria do Rock, but it needs investment and maintenance. I wish to see the mall fully revitalized.

This place is must if you like the piercing/rock/anime culture, there you have a lot of products and the place is really nice. I found things that I couldnt find in other places or internet so I really liked to go there. Theres is also a lot of music stores with great prices for new and older music. I took a photo of some key rings liked there so I'm leaving it here

Visited in May 2019: was a very nice place to do some shopping at stores you necessarily won’t find around the area (beware of some of the shops selling counterfeit brands; converse especially). When taking a few pictures, we were stopped by security and told we weren’t allowed to take photographs without permission. Was kinda strange so we left at that point.

The Galeria do Rock has everything you need to convert your conservative lifestyle to one of a skateboarding goth. Tattoos silver jewelry and many other goods and services are available here at a fair price. I purchased a high-end longboard here with Brazilian made hardware and hardwood for a price far cheaper than what could be had in Canada.

I love this place because you can find absolutely everything aboit Rock and Heavy Metal, since CDs, clothes, accessories, vinyls, boots, besides other things related to viking culture, gothic culture, skate and rap, silk screen services and tattoo, a nice place to meet friends, close to restaurants and subways

A galeria do rock é um ponto obrigatório pra quem curte um rock n’ roll, pois tem tudo oque você pode imaginar lá. Ou seja, tem desde a cds à camisetas e tudo e mais um pouco que você possa imaginar. Os preços não estão mais tão baratos como antigamente, mas ainda sim vale a pena pela qualidade das camisetas que variam de R$ 60 a R$ 150. Na galeria também tem um local chamado “Rock e Burguer” que você pode provar vários tipos diferentes de cervejas e chopps, entre elas, as cervejas do Iron Maiden. Já adianto que não é barato uma caneca desse chopp (o pequeno custa R$ 32), mas é mto boa, vale a pena provar. Outra dica importante é sobre a segurança dos turistas no local: apesar de ter policiamento ao redor, é importante que você fique atento e entre e saia do Uber rápido, pois assim não da chance de assaltos, pois anda bem perigosa aquele região.
