First opened in 1996, Yayasan Shopping Complex is one of Brunei’s earliest and longest-standing shopping malls. Considered a tourist attraction for a majority of its existence due to its scenic fountain avenue and its close proximity to other popular sites such as Kampung Air and the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque. Recently, the shopping centre has gone through a few changes but has since reopened its doors with a new line-up of brands, mostly featuring locally made products.
The only place in Bandar where you can find souvenirs. This mall is of two parts connected with each other by a tunnel under the allay between them. You can find famous brands, nice restaurants and street food only on Fridays and Sundays.

Read moreWe were walking around the vicinity of our hotel in Brunei when we saw this mall. What attracted us to it was the outlet of Jollibee. We got curious and so we went inside the mall to check.
We went inside the supermarket and interestingly found a musang king durian flavored ice cream, which we bought and tried. We ate it at the food court.
