A fantastic museum, much to our surprise! Blagoevgrad is a small town but this is a large museum rich in archaeological finds, natural history and cultural items. The ticket cost 4 Lev which is excellent considering how much there is to see. As an archaeologist I was amazed to see artefacts here that I had never seen outside of textbooks before! Wonderful museum with lots to see, from prehistory to now. Tons of Bulgarian history to learn about. Tickets are only 4 leva per person, which is absolutely worth it.
