We revisited the aquapark this summer, we have visited this park several years with younger kids. This time we came with teenagers, and it remains a great destination for a memorable family day out.
The Good: The park offers a solid variety of slides for different ages. The Typhoon Tunnel was particularly popular with our teenagers this year. They've added more food options than what is displayed on the menu (like pizza, healthy smoothies, juices), so be sure to ask what's available. We enjoyed the veil burger and the homemade lemonade. The payment system is straightforward, with card or cash accepted for food and drinks directly at the counters. They have a small selection of sun cream and swimwear in the park shop. The foam party at 15:30 was a highlight for us as well.
What to be aware of: On the day of our visit, the park closed at 18:00, but the kitchen was already shut down by 17:00. Plan your meals accordingly. The restroom floors can become quite slippery, so watch your step.
To give you an idea, we spent €25 per person for entrance and roughly an additional €20 per person for food and drinks.
Overall, Aquapark Pomorie is still an enjoyable choice for family fun. Just keep these points in mind to make the most...
Read morePositive: at the slides almost no waiting times in high season good and tight control at entrance and exit of slides, so it appears quite safe thrill factor of slides: quite good option to safely store valuables (extra charge) mostly friendly personell (except for sauna entrance)
Negative: almost only usable for 3 categories of people: a) 2-4 years with mandatory parental oversight; b) larger than 130 cm but below 14 years need parental oversight c) 14 years old can do anything on their own d) this means the „baby“ slides are too boring for kids smaller than 130 cm and the tight control does not allow them to use any other slide (at least we did not find any) ⚠️ slippery tiles on the ground almost everywhere even on stair steps inside pools felt quite dangerous as I almost fell down several times floor in male changing rooms and toilets were covered with 0.5 cm water which did not create a clean feeling rather long walking time from parking lot to entrance without shade generally insufficient shading except for a few umbrellas and the main tower which provides access to most slides
soso: +/- sauna entrance was strictly prohibited to below 18 year old kids, even when accompanied by...
Read moreI have adopted 3 kids from whom one has certificate of handicap is our first vacation and the first time this kids are seeing the bright side of life after coma and many other horrendous life experiences. We don't have a handicap parking space either. This is the intro to say that this is the worse place I ve even been at . We were refused to recive the handicap free entry, we haven't even had a discount, we have been humiliated and kept at the gate for a while. 1st they sau we ll have the free entry with the condition that my sick kid will not use the water park 😒 really ? Than she came back and said she won't give us any discount even if he won't use it. So I paid full day for few hours for 3 small kids one with the most severe type of handicap. To make it worse is the only place arround the aria that doenst include the food and drink în this extremely expensive entry price. Chairs are broken , no towels nothing, if i were alone I would have left instantly to any of the others decent aquaparks în the aria! Please avoid at all cost. Heartless people don't deserve to have costumers. I'm sorry I can't give zero stars because that would have...
