Totally panicked when I saw the other reviews for here. Luckily though I was pleasantly suprised. Slight glitch on arrival of having a tiny room with a double bed. I'd booked with my 14 year old son so not ideal. But this was correct the day after and we ended up with a huge room with two balconies. Towels and bedding where changed more than you would normally expect with a three star hotel and all areas where kept clean and tidy. All inclusive is light meaning 11am-9pm(high season) for drinks. Ice cream was 3.30-5pm but you have to wait to be served by staff. Who are usually the same staff serving the drinks. (not ideal but only a major problem if your with young children) There where school groups in our hotel three rooms on my floor had lots of 12+ children in, so I did have to complain one night due to them messing in the hall way early hours of the morning and banging doors waking us up. The staff where great in the hotel though and put a stop to it straight away. All the staff where friendly and tried to speak as best English as they could.||The pool opened at 9am and breakfast was served 8-10am. Lunch 12-2 evening meals 5-7pm. We had a packed lunch and bottle of water on arrival at the hotel at 1am.||The food wasn't anywhere near as bad as I expected either. Only breakfast was a struggle for me as I'm gluten intolerant. But there was plenty of choice. They could do with a bigger toaster. A faster newer coffee machine and pure juice would habe been nicer. But if you asked for anything they did try to help as much as they could. The fries are on every day but there was always other choices too and plenty of salad. And as another lady pointed out Bulgarian food isn't served red hot but we had no problems with anything being cold for the week we where there. ||All in all for a three star bargain deal I was very impressed. It's not far frontier main Street or bus stops to Pomorie town or Sunny Beach. ||The staff where all very helpful and pleasant even in the very...

In over 50 years of|extensive business and leisure travel, this is by far the worst hotel I have ever used.|I have probably stayed in over 1000 hotels|in many countries.|The food hygiene was apalling.Barely warm food was tipped into four water-warmed bain-maries without lids. A haven|for flies, who often arrived before the guests!! The whole process of preparation|and presentation would not survive 10|minutes of a U.K. inspector.|Many meals gave no indication of what was being served. One one occassion a|serving of "breaded veal" was presented.|When this item was half served, fish fingers were, literally, just tipped on top.|All the vegetables, apart from the broccoli,|came from tins - as did the meat for the |stew.|The o'clock (later extended to 9) was|a disaster. The manageress (with a selective command of English!) encouraged multi ordering to beat the|bar closing time which resulted in much|drink-fuelled loutish behaviour.|On the housekeeping front - our bath leaked badly every day, the balcony door|jammed every day and refused to open at all on the final day and the furniture configuration required walking side ways,|crab fashion to access the bed.|Any compliment on the appearance of the premises is futile. It is the quality and|professionalism of the service which is paramount..|Tradora,Martin and the two other bar men/receptionists deserve a mention and|thanks. Read moreMost people are slating this hotel - obviously they didn't do their research before travelling!||A lot of Bulgarian Hotels offer All Inclusive Light - you need to check as they can be quite different on timings! For a relatively small 3 star hotel you are not going to get 10 choices of mains etc! That would not be beneficial to the hotel! Myself and my husband are not fussy eaters and we found something different to eat every day and the fruit and cake for dessert was quite delicious. As for one reviewer who said you have to set the table yourself - you just collect your cutlery with your food - you do that at Sizzling Pubs and many others in the UK - not a hard task really!||Pomorie is a quiet part of Bulgaria - if you want more to do, go to Sunny Beach as that's very lively! It depends what you want from your holiday. Nessebar is lovely to visit too.||Back to the Hotel - ok so there was no gym or spa and the Wi-Fi wasn't free but you get your air-con and fridge at no extra cost which is a bonus! I swam every day for exercise and walked - you adapt!||Value for money - I would say we got a cracking holiday for our money and would...
