Sunshine Night Market — Attraction in Khan Daun Penh

We arrived around 8, so there weren’t many food options available. Most stalls were selling grilled squid and a few types of salad. We found a noodle soup shop and enjoyed their meatball soup. The staff didn’t speak English, so communication was a bit challenging. They accept both USD and riel, but if you pay in USD, the change is usually given in riel.

I like the place but there should be some improvement with food choices and the environment. I enjoyed going there in the beginning but after a while they started playing music too loud — we cannot even hear each other talking. It’s so frustrating cause I am pretty sure people go there to chill with their family and just want a good meal with their friends and family.

Really wish the organizers or owner of the place can have some control over the food they sell and the quality. There are only a few good ones out there. Not attractive enough...
