I booked for 8 days but I left after one night. This is not a luxury hotel. There have been nothing but issues and I've only been here one day. Shortly after checking in, the AC started leaking water in the bedroom. Maintenance came to "fix" the problem and left the puddle of water on the floor. I had to call the front deck for extra towels and clean it up myself. The next morning, the living room AC began to leak, and the bedroom AC was extremely noisy and not cold. Maintenance came again and took over an hour, but did not even check the living room AC. They also left the bedroom very smelly and kept closing the window after I'd opened it because of their odor. Absolutely disgusting. I asked them to stop closing the window, especially since it's not why they came, yet after watching me open it, they closed it twice. The mini bar was missing items but even after reporting it to the front desk, they did not refill them. I kept asking them to refill it so they wouldn't try to charge me as if I'd used the items. I had to call 3x to get it corrected. The couch had an awful, smelly odor. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom is spacious, but the hot water was only hot for 5 minutes and Sukkhem couldn't fully understand my query and frustration regarding it and the remaining issues. When housekeeping finally came to clean at 2pm, they didn't bother cleaning the bedroom since one door was blocked by Maintenance, however, there's a second entry into the bedroom through the bathroom, and they still didn't clean the bedroom. The staff speaks very little English, so my concerns were not truly understood. The elevator takes forever and there's only 2 because the third is for staff. Breakfast was a joke. There was no one at the door so I had to ask the front desk if I was supposed to wait to be greeted or if I should just walk in. All the food was cold, mini pancakes were crumbled and smashed, and there were so many people open mouth coughing and sneezing that I took my food to my room. Sukkhem was the front desk supervisor during my stay and he was as helpful as he could be. He contacted management and confirmed they would refund the remaining unused nights upon their return on Monday but it would take some time. I appreciate...
Read moreWe booked this hotel to celebrate my birthday, which they didn’t acknowledge, but they owed us nothing, so it was no biggie. Unfortunately due to our flight being canceled from Dallas, we didn’t get into Phnom Penh until 2 days later. I was grateful that they held our room our room until we arrived. Our driver was waiting when we came out of the airport in Phnom Penh. He was pleasant, friendly and assertive. We enjoyed our ride and the music was relaxing. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff was friendly enough. It felt more apartment than hotel. They took our passports and we sat in the restaurant and had our welcome drinks.. The suite was clean, but basic. The Balcony view was lovely at night, but there are no chairs for you to sit outside and enjoy it or have a meal. It would’ve been nice to have seating on the balcony. Room cleaning did an okay job of refreshing our rooms, but were not consistent with restocking supplies such as coffee and tea, but we could call and they would bring it because I love my coffee in the morning. We didn’t expect to stay in a lot, but I ended up getting food poisoning. I wanted to watch TV while we were in, but the TV’s are basic and don’t have streaming. We ordered mostly room service and the food was really good except the fish and chips. The prices were also reasonable. We had a beverage menu in the suite that we should have in the fridge, but we didn’t receive most of the items on there, so we just purchased items from outside. Their taxi service is more expensive than renting a taxi outside. The hotel is a distance from the markets and you must take a Tuk Tuk, but you can walk if you enjoy walking in the heat. We went to the Aurora sky lounge to chill by the pool. The lounge is modern and beautiful. Although it was raining, we sat outside and had a couple drinks. Unfortunately, the drinks were really not good. We had breakfast a couple of mornings in the restaurant and it was good. The restaurant staff in the restaurant could be more friendly, but we didn’t allow that to bother us. This place has its pros and cons. It was an “okay” start to the beginning of our vacation...
Read moreHighly recommend this hotel!!! Had a memorable experience and will be my go hotel for every trip from now on!! (Unless Im in the mood to treat myself to 5 Stars hotel 😌)
Safety is at peace of mind. The room is neat, clean, and spacious!! The staffs from ground to top floor, the front desk, lobby restaurant, the spa, the sky lounge, are so welcoming!! They have self service laundromat that makes me feel like home. I could tell that their breakfast is really try to meet their guest need, a wide variety. I enjoyed my breakfast with iced americano, never missed it. Some morning just grab the coffee and go, but wish they closed the cup better without leaking and drip on my white shoes 🥺)
On my checked in, I got higher floor, 13th, I went to sleep and wake up to the beautiful city view.
The bathroom is well equipped with all the necessities, any additional are very welcome to request.
When choosing a place to stay, safety is always the priority. Talking from experience about safety, the hotel is located on the same street of military office, make me feel safe in away. And I once got locked outside of my room because my roommate fell asleep and they doubled locked the door, the front desk couldn’t help me but could only ring the phone room to wake them up.
I checked in with them 2 times, total of 10 nights, didn’t change the hotel because the convenience of the services they have available. When stay 3 nights plus, being greeted by the same staffs in and out, start to feel relax and enjoy the stay!!
They also have transportation service, I didn’t get to try, maybe next time…😁 as a guest staying they also have special promo for certain services too, during my stays I got 10% off of my spa, I went for 2 sessions.
Overall, will definitely book this hotel for my family for their...
