Such an excellent experience. The park pauses water for periods of time to filter the water and pump in fresh clean water. A definite attentiveness to a clean and hygienic experience - always a positive for me at any children's play areas. The staff is super friendly and even the food shack staff was great. Plenty of affordable options if you're hungry or thirsty.

Chinook Winds park is fun for kids. There's the water park and a playground with a variety of equipment for kids of all ages. There's an ice cream shop on site and he sells hot dogs as well but they don't look or taste good. My kids (and I) enjoy the water park on hot days. But go early because it tends to get packed in the afternoon

It was my families first time at this park, and we had a great time. I do find it is geared towards the younger kids. My 12 and 10 year old used the skatepark the entire time they were there. My 2 year old son had plenty of things to do there. I appreciate the many spots to sit in the shade. We would recommend this park.

I recently visited the Splash Park at West Confederation Park in Calgary and had a fantastic time! The park is beautifully designed, with plenty of areas for kids to play and enjoy the water. The surrounding greenery and picnic areas make it a great spot for families to relax and have a fun day out.

However, I did notice that the water features were not running as well as they should. Only a little water was coming out, which was a bit disappointing. Hopefully, this issue will be fixed soon so that everyone can fully enjoy all the features of the splash park.

Despite this minor setback, the overall experience was delightful. The park is clean, well-maintained, and provides a safe environment for children. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun and refreshing outdoor...

It's free and fun for younger kids, however I believe the water pump is currently broken so the pressure is very low and some of the features are not working. The concession right next to it has a wide selection (even Indian food!) and decent prices. They recently changed the entrance but signs were lacking (it's not connected with the skate park parking lot anymore) There are a few sun shades and quite a few trees you can find shade around, but not a ton of actual seats and picnic tables. It's been very busy with the hot weather but my kids really enjoyed it (they brought water guns and had the most fun...

Pretty fun time for all ages caution with toddlers and the big bucket dump! clean area Lots of grass sit areas so bring chairs. Has a Concession but didn't use this time. Washrooms avail outside of water area near playground. Has a skate bike park. Helmets mandatory but many kids not wearing them. Yikes!! Park was Pretty busy and loud with kids screaming and having fun. We will go again. Walking access to the west side in chinook gate not great yet. Hoping for...
