Subway — Restaurant in Airdrie

got the worse sandwich i’ve ever had here. the boy working tonight (decently long/ curly hair, with glasses) was RUSHING my order to the point where i couldn’t even decide my own toppings or ask him not to put certain toppings on (or remove since i didnt ever get a chance to tell him not to put it on in the first place). He was extremely judgemental about what i was ordering, asking if “i was sure” or making comments under his breath. then after dowsing my sub in mustard he chucked it over to the checkout area. to top it all off, as i went to fill up the drink i paid full price for, i had noticed black spots/ clumps (looked like mold) coming out of the drink machine!!! As the singular worker in the store had RAN to the back as soon as we paid, i did not get a chance to get a refund/ replacement or even tell him the machine needed cleaning. Absolutely god awful business and employees who don’t care about their customers well...

EDIT Feb 12, 2018: Went in today to use a gift card, no one was up front. Had to yell "hello" three times before someone came out. The guy that helped was very friendly and apologized for the wait, which was nice. Cucumbers were starting to go bad and turn brown, and had bits of mayo (?) in them. Sandwich was slapped together and most of the toppings fell out into the wrapper. As a former Sandwich Artist, I find the quality of workmanship and cleanliness of this Subway disappointing.

Have been quite disappointed with the service and workmanship at the Yankee Valley Blvd location. Today I waited over 10 minutes in line, there was only one worker making sandwiches and another in the back who refused to help customers. I left and chose to eat somewhere else. This is i beleive the beacon hill location. First of all. This store among others are in a small enclave of store in the niddle of the parking lot. Not easy to get to and while there were so many cards in and ojt of this hige shopping are, this area was dead. We went in the buy 2 subs, subway melts. The bins were quite dry and seem to be older buns due to lack of traffic. I had asked for extra tomatoes but she didnt give them. I decoded not to ask again. I dont know if its standard to wash a cutting knife in a dish of water to clean it between sandwiches but in my opinion, i dont think its as sannitary as can be. This store os dated and doesnt allow you to add flavouring to 7up for example like other stores do. Also the menu boards are older style and show only a handfull of sandwiches and some promos. We wont be back...
