A Hidden Gem in Drumheller! Visited the Homestead Antique Museum during a day trip to Drumheller and was pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it! The museum is filled with an incredible collection of antiques that offer a real glimpse into pioneer life—from furniture and tools to clothing, household items, and even a two-headed calf. As someone who works in the dental field, I was especially fascinated by their old dental setup. They had a vintage X-ray machine, dental chair, and old instruments on display—it was so interesting to see how far the field has come! The staff were also super friendly and great to chat with, adding to the overall charm of the experience. Read moreFor a "small" museum, Homestead hits a home run. The layout and displays are amazing, authentic materials. This hits me on several fronts. First of all, I am a proud retired military member. Their military displays brought back many memories, both good and bad. The vehicle display was fabulous and very interesting, showing the pioneer spirit that helped make Canada the best country in the world.
