It's the only beach and Drumheller that they have available to the public it's not horrible it's a nice place to go on a hot day. And if you just wanna chill and enjoy the sun. Just figured out that they do have bathrooms and free showers at the entrance in the building off to the left (west) side of the road. but it's a great place 4 tubing and suitable for families with little ones. The river is so calm and you can pretty much walk most of it. they have boat access to the river for your canoes, boats and whatever else. Although small, sections are well treed, providing good habitat for a variety of species. With the Red Deer River at hand, even turkey vultures soar above, a real treat for bird watchers.    Read moreIt's a river stream with a mud/dirt/sand clearing, it's not much of a beach but unfortunately it's the only beach listed in Drumheller. There's no playground, no benches, no concession, and no dogs allowed. Lastly the mud/dirt/sand mixture is very firm so kids can't make sandcastles easily, you'll need to bring large metal shovels to play in it as plastic toys would break.
