Absolutely stunning! Lake Minnewanka is a must-visit in Banff National Park.
The lake is incredibly scenic, surrounded by majestic mountains and crystal-clear water. You can take a boat tour or rent a kayak for a peaceful paddle. There are also plenty of trails for hiking and spots for picnicking by the shore.
It's not as crowded as Lake Louise or Moraine Lake, so you get to enjoy nature more peacefully. Parking is available and there are washrooms nearby. Highly recommend visiting early in the day or near sunset for the best views!

The park gets extremely busy during the summer months so may be difficult to find parking in the area. If there's been rain or snow in the area the paths can be quite muddy so wear proper shoes. Bathrooms are clean and the little café is worth the stop for a snack. There are a few other lakes on the scenic route back to Banff that are worth checking...
