Nice little stop off the highway as we were travelling through. The signage could be better as Google doesn't show the access road on Maps. Lots of hiking trails go up the mountain to this spot, and continue on to the summit. Alternatively, you can drive a switchbacking dirt road 23km from here to the summit.
