This was a highlight of our trip to Canada, and to say that it was a wonderful experience seems like an understatement. From the moment Eric greeted us, he provided fun and insightful facts about dog sledding as a sport and hobby. This made our entire experience all -the-more- unique and informative. We had the opportunity to meet his dogs, and to see that our anticipation for our sleigh ride was equally matched, or actually surpassed by his dogs, was such an exhilarating and touching moment.

As we were the first tour of his season, we were also very fortunate to have his experienced training partner, Jeff, on our sleigh ride. Their willingness to share their experiences and answer any questions, providing background information about dog sledding (dog mushing tradition) brought a deeper appreciation for all they do.

Eric was accommodating, with excellent communication and follow up. The experience was so authentic, and I believe it was a combination of his excellent "4 legged" crew, and his enthusiasm, passion and professionalism that really highlights a uniquely magical experience.

We decided to drive to Revelstoke from Banff because we heard so much about this tour. It was the absolute best decision!!! We've heard the bigger commercial companies in Banff only take you on short 5k tours with limited views. Revelstoke Dogsled Adventures took us over 15k of untouched terrain and no one around us. I highly highly...

We always appreciate genuine people. Eric, the business owner is a one of a kind, flat out in everything he does. He loves his job, which includes his dogs. When he’s not running sledding tours or being a family man to his 2 kids, he’s competing in sledding events. Our guide Crystal loves her job as much as Eric and of course her own dog Spencer. The dogs get insanely wound up right before takeoff- busting for a run. Forget about having a conversation as it’s all about the dogs at this point. Once underway, the sled on snow is the only sound you will hear. Take warm clothes (ski gear is good) and I would recommend goggles as the dogs kick up tiny snowballs from their paws. Revvy Dogsled Adventures is the place to go if you are after grass roots dogsledding. Thanks for the hot chocolate at the end Eric- we had a great experience....

Really really loved the experience! Signed up for the kennel tour. Allllll the dogs were so lovely and friendly and so so so cute. Apart from the running dogs, they also have had some new puppies! Eric and his family and team are absolute dog lovers, the dogs are well taken care of and given so much love. There are 48 dogs and they can remember all their names and quirks! The tour was informative and interesting, and we learned quite abit about dog Sledding and how the dogs are trained. We were lucky to get in on the running of the dogs and it was such a fun and insightful time. Eric was also kind to give us some travel tips and some interesting sights in Revelstoke.

Ultimately, definitely will return for another visit when we can. This was truly the...

Just book this activity. You will not regret it! You may think it's a bit pricey, but if you can afford this rare and special treat, do it. It is worth every penny. We did our research to ensure the staff (especially the dogs!) are treated with love and respect. That is immediately evident. You get to help harness the pups (if you want), or you can stand back and enjoy their silliness. Our guide Max was wonderful! He was fun and interesting and we felt we were safe and in good hands. We hope to do this adventure again on a future trip to Revy, maybe when days are a bit longer to view the sunset. My only WARNING is that the ride can be very bumpy depending on the snow trail condition, so if you have any physical challenges or limitations, talk to the company for guidance.
