Pillows Lodge — Hotel in Area B (Shelter Bay/Mica Creek)

We had the trip of a lifetime last month, and the Pillows Lodge had a big part in it. All 9 of us had everything an eager skier wants during our week-long stay: space to safely store and dry all our gear, a crystal-clear hottub with a view to soak in after all our turns, a spacious kitchen and beer on tap for après-ski, a cozy living-room with wood fireplace to chill and catch up at the end of a long day. All that, with spectacular views of Revelstoke mountain that are ever changing in front of you.

Francis thought about all the details to make you feel like you are somewhere really special and luxurious, yet simple and close to nature: the cinema-type video screen downstairs, the smell of the shower products, the fun shooter glasses, the expresso machine, the smart sound system, the ridiculously large mittens and boots dryer... This place has it all. Special mention to the magnificent wood structure of the house, and the windows, windows, view view everywhere!

We made a last-minute reservation that turned out to be an excellent decision. Francis, our host, was incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us to extend our stay due to unforeseen issues with our initial accommodation. The house was ideal for our visiting Australian families.

The home offered a perfect setup with individual beds for the kids, and ample space for everyone to unwind. Waking up to breathtaking views of Revelstoke and its surroundings added an extra layer of charm to our stay. It was a short trip to the mountain, the experience was well worth it.

Located on a secluded and quiet piece of land, but yet minutes away from the city, the design and construction of the lodge is a piece of art, simply and amazingly beautiful.
