In all fairness, I have not tried the wines here yet, thus one star for the food. I had come from two other wineries before this one and just needed to eat something though. I will share my experience here. I had just felt I would try the wines here next time around. So, my son and I had asked about their restaurant/bistro and they had smoked meats (southern style), you know, bbq ribs, beef brisket other pork pieces (shoulder) which they called it “pig wings”. So we decided to share a dish (sampler) all their meats. The pictures and the menu illustrates it a little. Meat was flavourless, and dry and, if not completely soaked and doused on, not very good bbq sauce which made the whole dish barely eatable! The corn bread however, was surprisingly tasty but, “what’s wrong with baking fresh every day?!” It was served cold and it just looked and tasted like they bake it once maybe twice a week. Keeping it in the cooler. Not fresh at all! Poor choice! The black bean and the coleslaw were completely unbeatable as well. Terrible food prep and presentation. The server tried her best to make sure I was happy with our meal she even brought some meat without the awful bbq sauce but, to no avail. Their kitchen needs a miracle!!! She was very courteous and friendly but unfortunately that doesn’t make up for a really bad chef and less than palatable food. I will go there again for a wine tasting but, definitely NOT for the food. No matter how hard the staff try to serve you with friendliness, just does not make up for poor choices at the kitchen! Just NOT good at all. They’d be better of just serving a cold cut platter with cheeses and crostini or up their standards at the kitchen! Definitely NOT recommend for the food. Eat some place else before...

Terrible customer service, horrible, over priced food and disrespectful staff. This winery also featured a restaurant on their open balcony. The pulled pork tator tots were microwaved not baked therefore the cheese dried up quickly and not a very generous portion of pulled pork even though it was the star of this meal. The smoked BBQ pork ribs were tough, dry, raw to the bone so it was not falling off, had alot of grizzle and over priced. My friends and I complained to the waitress and she did not appologize instead she said "OK so what you want to do". After struggling with the third rib we demanded to see the manager. The restaurant manager said "falling off the bone" was not what he was going for and the smokey flavour was his main concern. He did not charge us for the full rack of ribs but charged our bill for 3 full sides at full price even though they were each one spoon full in size. I did not get value for my money or feel like a valued customer. The manager of the restaurant and the waitress did not show any compassion and lacked the skill to rescue the situation. While eating at their open patio restaurant, it rained and we had to move over to a vacant table on our own, ie. without any assistance from the waitress or staff. We skipped the wine tasting because of this bad experience. The manager, the waitress nor the owner in the winery at the tasting section did not appologize. I do not recommend the restaurant at this winery....

My husband and I were in the area and arrived to buy wine. We had sussed out what we wanted. First stop Wild Goose. We walked in. I scanned the wall. The clerk didn’t ask us what we were looking for. I said I wanted to buy some wine. She barely exchanged a word and simply placed a wine list on the checkout counter as another couple arrived soon after. She left us and promptly went to them. I thought strange. We had just arrived ourselves. A second clerk came and I placed my order. She began to input it into her system as a boisterous group came in from the bistro to commence tasting. The second clerk also stopped midway and left us in the middle of our transaction to line glasses along the bar for the new bistro crowd while I stood there with my CC in hand. Both my husband and I looked at each other. I was prepared to leave at that point. My husband did leave. I couldn’t believe what was going on. At no time were we asked what we were looking for or did we wish to taste anything. It was the strangest experience. The second clerk returned to ring me out. Placed 3 bottles in a bag. Clink. Clink. I was thankful to have a box in the car to separate the bottles. ... Sorry Wild Goose. The flock must have flown South already leaving the stragglers who...

Loved this place! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome (and a few jokes). As an all-around wine drinker along with a non-red drinker, the wines we tasted were delicious and right up our alley. The first half of the tasting was very informative, but the second half felt a little flat. There weren’t any descriptions of the wines, tasting notes, or production details shared. To be fair, there was a photoshoot happening behind us, which may have been distracting for the staff by that time. Overall, that did not take away from our experience—we still enjoyed our time here, and even took home a few bottles! We'll definitely be back and will be reccomending Wild Goose as a stop.

The Bistro at Wild Goose Vineyards presents the best seasonal ingredients in the best delicious and flavourful dishes in OK Falls. The fresh burrata and rhubarb preserve on focaccia was vibrant and fresh. The calamari was crisp and light and perfectly cooked and the feature dish, sunchoke gnocchi with corn and prawns was the best thing I've had in MONTHS. The rebranding of this restaurant is a major success!! Not to mention the view from the patio and the warm hospitality!
