Lovely beach 🌊 the rocks are smaller and easier to walk across in the area right by the parking lot, but the rocks get bigger as you go further past the lot. There are no washrooms or garbage cans, but you can find port o potties and a garbage can about 500m past the main lot area. No playground, but fantastic beach for kids anyways.

The beach is perfect for just sitting back and staring out at the horizon. The sunrise and sunset here are absolutely beautiful—so calm and relaxing. If you feel like taking a walk, there’s also a nice 5-kilometer round-trip trail along the beach, which makes it even better. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature!

I've been going to this park ever since I was old enough to walk when I live down in the Gower point road. My mom, Joan Mahlman, mother of a certain president of operations for London drugs, and others did a lot of hard work to get this park a reality from the impromptu meeting space that it was.

Those people organized themselves got others to help contribute and brought even a few people in with heavy equipment to make this park happen.

This is what a part can be. The quiet semian spoiled area on the waterfront where you can park your car, and walk your dog to and from the end of the esplanating back without worrying about huge piles of traffic going to and forth someplace else.

They don't charge for parking here unlike some other places like Lion's Bay who seem to be doing their best to keep outsiders out of their little clique. Within and without various legal means.

The parking lot is a bit of an ad hoc affair currently with large puddles of water around it after heavy rainfall, and the formerly nice grassy surface which was attractive for people to play some badminton on or put up a volleyball net is currently a muddy mess and needs to be addressed. The local SCRD in charge of this for area really needs to address their lack of seeming interest in maintaining Park spaces that local...
