Fast Time Amusements — Attraction in Area F (Alberni Highway)

First off we tried to reach out to the company about an incident that occurred when we took our son there over the weekend, they let a man in that was drinking that day and he raced around their track with kids! I assumed this was a safe, family oriented place but that is not the case, that man that was drinking rammed into my son so hard that he had ended up in the hospital, I know for a fact that things would have been different if they never let him in under the influence to race with kids as young as 8 years old in the first place, the owner replied to me and said that his staff told him it was a 7 kart collision and that nobody stepped foot in there under the influence even though that man admitted it right on their track after the crash occurred and he reeked of alcohol, it definitely did not involve 7 karts, the rest of the karts all came to a complete stop, it was only that man and my kids kart involved, I was standing by the fence where it happened so it was unbelievable to me that they would even try to lie about it, he stood by their word and offered no apology. That's not even the end, we are at home with our son while he is recovering and 2 days later a HOLLY ANN shows up on our Facebook harrassing us about the review we left on their Facebook page, we assume she is a worker or related to the owner as she said she knows everything about our situation and made racist comments towards us calling us trash and assuming we are poor based on the color of our skin. I reached out to the company once again to let them know what this lady was saying in hopes she would stop messaging and their reply was a thumbs up than blocked me completely. Terrible, incompetent and inconsiderate workers. I went go karting with my girlfriend who is very short and skinny, they gave no advice to her and made no effort to make sure she was good to go, no one adjusted her pedals, no one even made sure she could reach the pedals. After not even one minute of her driving her helmet came flying off and she almost went out of the go kart. My girlfriend could have been seriously injured just because of the incompetence and ignorance from the employees. After the race was over no one checked on her, no one apologized they just ignored her. I recommend avoiding this location until they get their act together. Update: DO NOT GO HERE she is in tremendous pain currently and it is 100% the careless employees fault, if you care about your family do not let them go here. They are not a family place and they don’t care if your child is hurt in the slightest bit. And you got to love how they refuse to comment back to this or any negative reviews but are more than happy to respond unnecessarily to positive reviews. Months later and still not comment from the guy who will message positive comments back in less than a day, this is a pathetic, sad place and I hope the employees feel good about injuring children...

I love this place! The go-Karts are fast and the track is so much fun with a great variety of different turns. The dual karts allow a child to steer ( through linked steering wheels) while the adult controls the pedals ( and steering if need be!). You feel like a racer when you get printouts of your lap times. We booked ahead of time from out of the area and Fast Times Amusement accommodated our booking despite the weather. We had the track to ourselves and the staff allowed us extra laps ( and even to drive in the other direction, which feels like a different track!). They even put a couple staff members on the track for a few Laos to give us "competitors".

Although I've never tried the other events, I can honestly say this is the best go-Karts I've ever tried. The parent-child karts are by far the best I've ever seen and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

I would genuinely give this place a sixth star if it was possible. My experience and review are so positive that I feel compelled to mention I have no connection to this business in any way. I highly recommend Fast Times...
