It lost 1 star rating only for the owners who walk their dogs off leash. This is not a dog park. My mother and I were scared out of our twits when 2 large dogs raced up to us without warning. Owners not in sight. Please keep your dogs with you on a leash.

The Grove Is Nice To Walk Through But There's No Access To The House Unfortunately. It's Private Property Now And The Owners Have It Fenced Off With Signs Saying No Trespassing. A Couple Of Benches Are In The Grove And There's A Plaque Near The House.

An ancient old-growth forest with some trees dating back 250 years. Several pathways through the forest included access to a secluded beach/waterfront on the Ottawa River.
