Milano Pizza — Restaurant in Arnprior

We love Milanos Carp, Almonte pretty much most Milanos we go to from subs to pizzas. Arnpriors was a HUGE disappointment. Not only is it extremely dirty and hot, the experience was less than satisfying. I was told 20 minutes to make 2 subs and fried pickles, perfect. I came 25 minutes later, the order isn't ready which okay people get busy. It's 4pm. I watch the lady in gloves making our subs and notice she takes her hand and pushes her hair out of the way.. Okay that's not sanitary, I watch as that hand is grabbing the produce to put on our subs.. trying to be polite I pay and head home while trying my best to not be grossed out by that.. we get home, the deep fried pickles are crisp on outside, but pure mush on the inside. Like the pickles are bad, is that even a thing? We throw them out.. The subs we ordered were Chicken & Bacon, my partner swears he didn't taste any bacon, I think I got a small strip, minimal chicken compared to what the other milanos offer.. I also had to open our subs to ensure no hair got in, still thinking about the experience in the store.. For $50 this was the grossest meal we've ever had from a Milanos, and we certainly will not be ordering from this location again...

My husband just shared a negative review of this place a few hours ago.

And I just got off the phone with the owner who wanted to understand what transpired and how they would address it.

THIS is truly a sign of respectable businessman and business. Businesses screw up many times, however, we always look for how it is handled. Sure, the employee left a sour taste in our mouth yesterday, but today's phone call from the owner, more than earned our respect back for them. We are not the kind of people who leave behind a negative review if the food isn't great, we always give a second chance and sometimes a third too.

The fact that the owner DID NOT ask me to take down the previous review or update it, is what makes me actually write this one to let you know that we have a genuine person who cares so much about his business and his customers.

I have faith that Faisal will turn things around with his employees. And Milanos can expect business from us...

It was our first day at Arnprior, moved to our new home and based on recommendations from FB community decided to order from Milano. After a hectic day with moving in these times, placed order online at 6:45 pm and pickup at 7:15 pm. I was there at sharp 7:12 pm for pickup. The person who asked about the order and left for delivery I guess, couple of new guys came in and didn’t even check about the order even after I asking about the same couple of times. Waited for almost 35 mins, it was just frustrating while kids were in car hoping for some pizza. Knocked again at 7:50 and politely said “Hey.. I have been waiting for 30mins...” and even before I can finish the sentence I get an answer “Don’t throw that attitude at me” and goes and gets the pizza’s which might have been already ready lying there since 15 mins.

However the pizza was delicious and our kids enjoyed it. Owner was courteous to reach to us...
