I reviewed this attraction on Trip Advisor and laughed out loud at the more recent ignorant, entitled reviews.🤦♀️Steep stairs? Nay. There is a lovely metal lookout, and yes, there is a metal staircase (with railings), but they are not as steep as these people made it seem. Small children, seniors, and even dogs were able to make it down and back up again. Also to note, this is a natural attraction, so obviously, there are NO vending machines (nor have I seen such things at any outdoor parks here). If you need food or drinks, I'd suggest bringing your own. Or walk across the road to the variety store, or less than 3 minutes down the road to the candy shop.
As for the falls themselves, they are simply stunning. It is a great place to sit and admire nature. If you're up for a cold swim, it seemed popular, though not for me. We walked a bit of the trail, but my asthma was acting up, and the mosquitoes were abundant, so we turned back sooner than planned. When visiting attractions, please don't base your visit off of a few lousy reviews because you might miss out on something great. I will definitely come back again with a picnic and some coffee to enjoy the views. There were some lovely picnic tables at the top, bbqs, and clean...
Read moreMy visit to Bridal Veil Falls was nothing short of enchanting. Tucked away in a lush, green landscape, the falls offer a serene escape that feels almost magical. The gentle sound of water cascading down the rock face truly lives up to its name, resembling the delicate flow of a bride’s veil.
As I hiked the trail leading to the falls, I was surrounded by towering trees and the fresh scent of pine, which added to the peaceful ambiance. The path was well-maintained, making the hike enjoyable and accessible to most. When I finally reached the falls, I was greeted by a breathtaking sight—water flowing gracefully down the rock wall, creating a mesmerizing curtain of mist that sparkled in the sunlight.
The setting around Bridal Veil Falls is perfect for reflection and relaxation. I spent a good amount of time just sitting by the falls, soaking in the natural beauty and the calming atmosphere. Whether you’re an avid hiker or simply looking for a quiet spot to connect with nature, Bridal Veil Falls is a must-visit. It’s one of those places where time seems to stand still, and you can’t help but feel a deep sense of...
Read moreAnother gorgeous free for all hiking and swimming area. When you come in you come down some steep galvanized steps (meaning they'll never rust) that brings you to the first lookout (first picture) then theirs a second lookout a few steps down. When you eventually reach the bottom theirs nice flat hiking trails. You can go swimming in the falls which has a nice bottom. Crocs or flip flops still recommended as it does have rocks so you can stub a toe.
If you're done swimming or don't feel like swimming you can hike the trails. They follow the stream and it looks amazing. We personally walked down the stream a good while, it's quick tricky to walk in the stream because of the large rocks and the current. If you're an adventurist I recommend walking the stream.
The trails themselves are steaming in beauty. The trails are up kept, theirs not a single rock or root in the way and lots of seating area.
Listen to me, go visit Brides Veil Falls & then continue on to Cup and Saucers. They are 20 minutes apart.
Please do not litter our...
