Bridal Veil Falls is a breathtaking destination that’s well worth a visit. Tucked away in a beautiful natural setting, this waterfall is an absolute gem and offers a refreshing experience that’s hard to beat. The sight of the water cascading over the rocky cliffs is mesmerizing, and the gentle mist that fills the air around the falls adds to the magic. It’s an experience that captures the beauty of nature in a way that feels almost otherworldly.

One of the highlights of Bridal Veil Falls is the chance to actually go under the falls. Standing behind the curtain of water is exhilarating, and the cool mist is incredibly refreshing, especially on a warm day. There’s something special about being so close to the power of the falls, feeling the energy of the water while staying dry on the rocky ledge. It’s a unique experience that adds a sense of adventure to the visit and is perfect for those looking for a closer connection with nature.

The view of the falls and surrounding area is stunning, with lush greenery and scenic beauty in every direction. The trails leading to the falls are well-maintained and not too challenging, making it an accessible destination for visitors of all ages. Along the way, there are several spots to stop and enjoy the scenery, take photos, or simply soak in the peaceful surroundings.

Overall, Bridal Veil Falls is an amazing stop for anyone who appreciates natural beauty and a bit of adventure. It’s a refreshing, invigorating spot that leaves you feeling connected to nature and revitalized. Whether you’re going for a quick visit or planning to spend time exploring the trails, this destination is a must-see. I’d give it a solid 5/5 for its beauty, accessibility, and the unforgettable experience of standing...

What's good about Bridal Veil Falls (one of the top attractions on Manitoulin Island) is that you can swim directly in front, under, or walk behind the water falls. The water falls are most spectacular to watch in May. When the snow is still melting, Bridal Veil Falls are roaring. While the water and temperatures make it too cold to go for a swim, a walk behind the roaring waterfalls is a fun and memorable experience. In the summer time, it's a fantastic place to go for a swim. If you're going to go for a swim, an hour is usually enough time to visit Bridal Veil Falls. If you're not going for a swim, 20-30 minutes is usually enough time to take nice pictures. If you're planning on doing the short nature hike that runs downstream (again, most spectacular in May), plan for an additional 30 minutes. When planning your visit to Bridal Veil Falls, you'll want to take into account the distance you need to drive to visit the falls versus the time you'll spend there. For instance, for those who aren't planning to swim or hike, driving 1 hour from South Baymouth for a 20 minute visit to Bridal Veil Falls may seem like an unnecessary...

Alright if you are planning a day trip here from Toronto, remember that after the 1:45 hr ferry ride, it is 45 mins ride to the falls. Once you arrive, the parking lot might be full. Many people opted to park their cars in corners. The stairs down to the fall is directly from the parking lot. The fall is visible from the parking lot. There are trails and Creeks.

There are 4 bathroom stalls, with no sink or running water. The Toilet paper was finished as well. The bathrooms were dirty and also being used as change rooms.

There isn’t enough flat ground to bring chairs. etc or much sitting area. The water isn’t too deep, you can walk through the falls to the back, the rocks are slippery. It was fairly busy when we arrived and it only got busier as the day went.

Tips: Wear water shoes. The rocks hurt the feet Bring waterproof phone bags. Bring a bathing suit. Even if you think you won’t get into the water once you arrive it’s very...

Wow oh wow! Wish we had seen this earlier in life prior to having our kids because my husband and I would be here taking yearly adventurous dips under such soft trickles of falling water that seemed like we were somewhere exotic, not even comprehended its right here in Ontario. I guess we still could enjoy once they grow older we can definitely still enjoy :) this place is a must see if your ever here, there are stairs leading down. It's a little bit of step down with steep stairs but safe enough you can bring your Lil ones. I do suggest you keep em close by you as there are sides if the path bottom of stairs that doesn't have beariers but a clear enough path to get to your veiw at the bottom. We fell in love with this adventurous place to visit, if you keep drivjng down that way, there's a little Harbour front.
