The museum is amazing, truly a step back in time. The gentleman working today (July 27,2025) however ruined the experience for us. It is free admission but apparently a donation is required. Not only did he complain about the donation we made he commented that typically it’s a $20 donation and then proceeded to count the money I put into the bin before we had even walked five feet in. I don’t have an issue paying for the entry but if you are by donation you accepted any donation given. You don’t dictate what that amount should be, charge an entry fee if you want to...

Cool museum very interesting but if it costs 5 per person at minimum then just say that...we walked in, dropped money in the box and were told we needed to pay more money. At this point we had already put 9 dollars in the box so we had no other choice but to pay what the crook working the entrance told us to pay.
