I used to love Mont Gale and Lac Gale, but the city of Bromont greedily started to charge for access. That is not acceptable. It's not big. Furthermore, it costs more than Mont Sutton and Mont Sutton is dramatically better with far more trails. Bromont includes their sidewalks as a part of their network, which is BS. Nice hiking trails largely in a wooded environment - try to get on a trail that takes you to the lake. Expect some ups and downs on all trails even those marked easy. From the parking area make sure to start a trail where it is clearly signed eg G1 - do not take the track next to the big map - the trail in fact starts in the opposite corner.
