It’s worth to PAY THE FULL PRICE. Which we didn’t know that there’s an event going on Sunday (September 1st, Alberta Day)! So, we booked a free admission tickets cos we thought, “it must be nice?!” Why not?!
I recently visited the park on a free admission day, which initially seemed like a great opportunity. However, the experience was far from ideal. The park was extremely crowded, leading to a hectic atmosphere that made it difficult to enjoy the attractions. The food lines were particularly problematic, as the lack of signage caused confusion and long waits.
To make matters worse, we missed the boat ride we were excited about because we couldn’t get on the overbooked free shuttle bus in time. We had paid the boat ride! Yet, the staff wouldn’t let us in cos they are still selling tickets for the people in line up. They said, “We either pay for another ticket to access the boat ride or wait until 7 p.m. for the chance to get on.” We brought our toddler today and was begging us to ride on the boat and was disappointed upon hearing what the staff said.
This lack of organization and the overwhelming number of visitors severely impacted our visit. While the free admission was appreciated, it didn’t compensate for the disorganization and the missed opportunities.
Will try to visit the park next year and hopefully, our experience will far from what...
