Visited Centre Hastings Park during our cottage trip with a few families, and we were blown away by this hidden gem! The playground is an absolute hit for kids of all ages. With slides ranging from small ones for toddlers to thrilling big ones for the more adventurous, our little ones were entertained for hours. The equipment is clean and well-maintained. The splash pad was a refreshing treat on a warm day, and the kids couldn't get enough of it. It's well-designed and spacious enough for multiple families to enjoy without feeling crowded. What really surprised us was the ice cream stand located in the tourist info house. Not only was it delicious, but its incredibly affordable - just $3.50 for a massive scoop! The park itself is clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. There's plenty of room for picnics, ball games, or just lounging on the grass.

Great park. Well kept. Splash pad included. Food and drink available on site. Friendly staff. My daughter forgot her backpack in the playground and one of the staff was kind enough to take my number and called me back after locating the lost bag. The skate park where all the teenagers lurk kinda has its own area so they don't end up running into small children with their super cool scooters. My only suggestion would be to have more picnic tables available, as sometimes we come to eat first and they are all occupied. 5 stars!

Centre Hastings Park is a local favourite park that is suitable for small children and teenage kids. This park is spacious that includes the Madoc Skatepark, playground, baseball diamond and other fun equipment. During Christmas times, you will also see the park being decorated with Snowman, Santa and other festive decorations. The next time you are around the area, take a walk and let your children enjoys the playground. We plan to learn and master our skateboarding skills at this park comes summer time!

Unfortunately the park seems neglected, garbage scattered everywhere. The wood chips in the playground have never seen a rake to smooth out underneath the swings and slides and the weeds growing in them was horrific. It would be an amazing place if there was more care given to the grounds. There's a huge list of sponsors/donors posted in the park on a massive sign that are being diserviced by the lack of maintenance. Not sure if this is a privately funded park or a Municipal one but someone should take accountability for the lack of...

This is a great community park where we stopped on our way just to stretch our legs and find a bathroom. There's good parking, a great splash pad and play area as well as green areas for throwing down a blanket to read. There's an eating area with picnic tables shaded by sails and you can get fries/hot dogs as well as ice cream. It is situated within the same area as the Madoc skate park and we saw little people and young teens practicing thier moves on the 'scapes. Very family friendly, a well laid out area for everyone to grab...
