Rise and Climb Adventure Course — Attraction in Cornwall

This is an amazing and beautiful place! The ropes courses, zip lines, rock walls, laser tag it's incredible with incredible, knowledgeable ,friendly staff that are patient, kind great with kids! The area itself is beautiful ,so much grass space, trees, picnic tables. Extremely Well maintained... If you can find any of it.... or any people. Considering the pictures posted on the website, one would think it relatively easy to spot. No! They desperately need more signs, arrows, fields marked, something! You enter from the highway ( only if you know it's there, otherwise you would keep driving as there are no signs, anything advertising all the awesome things there and nothing in sight) and it's a maze of paved roads, walkways and fields. Soccer fields ,ball fields. You can see the tips of high wooden structures a distance away through the trees. But getting to it... just walk and hope you eventually get to it. No main building, no kiosk, no signs, no staff directing people where to go,where to park etc. There are so many different areas here and nothing to indicate where or how to get to where you're going. A sign saying Laser tag with a corresponding arrow/ Rise & Climb ropes course with corresponding arrow etc.etc. would be a help. My son was 25 minutes late for a bday party. It is a 25 minute drive from our house. It ended up taking 45 minutes. Probably would of been longer had I not become so frustrated ,just parked my car on the spot, got out and started walking. We walked for about 10 minutes and heard people. It was literally 15+ minutes off the highway to get to 1 of the courses. Think about the area you can cover walking for 15 minutes!? Not a single sign, staff member, kiosk, no main building or check in, NOTHING! It would be a shame for this place to ever go unnoticed for lack of signs, or anything visual pointing it out. I would give it 5 stars for the staff, the service, safety, amazing variety, beautiful space, something for kids to do that's both fun and active! I'm only giving it 3 with the hope of getting someone's attention that has the authority to do something about this ONE but major snag🙏 PLEASE I think many people would turn in off the highway and almost immediately back out and turn around thinking there was nothing there. PUT UP SIGNS/ HAVE A BUILDING NEAR THE ROAD / IF NOT STAFFED HAVE DIRECTIONS AND HOURS POSTED IN...

Finding the place: we drove through a suburban area, certain Google maps had led us astray but no; at the end of a roundabout, there is a small gravel parking lot on the right and a big sign on the left for the Course which is just out of sight down a small hill.

Our little guy (7) was nervous at first, mainly because it was hard for him to reach the lines to clip on and off. The safety instructions and practice course helped him get a feel for it, but the kid's course was still very intimidating. He shakily made it halfway through before he got spooked and wanted to bail. We got a staff member who came around to help him calm down. He was then able to finish the course with the instructor following behind him and encouraging him the rest of the way. The zip line at the end was a great reward!

Kiddo decided to do the practice course again to get more comfortable with clipping on and off and hanging in the harness. Another round on the super fun zip line and he was ready to try the course again - and he flew through it! He went through the course a third time and by the end of our 2 hours he wanted to try the main course. We'll be back for sure!

As a parent, I am super grateful to the staff who encouraged my kid and helped him learn a very valuable lesson: he can do hard things! He left with a spring in his step and a little bit more self-confidence. Highly...

🚰 Tips: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👉🏻 Some tips for a great experience: be sure to bring water to stay hydrated (💧) and gloves to protect your hands (🧤). If you choose an afternoon session, sunscreen (☀️) is a must to shield yourself from the sun.
