I've waivered back and forth for years on getting a hot tub. Why? Because the horror stories of coworkers, friends and online reviews consistently talk about after sales support and service being virtually non-existent or is nightmare and long wait for parts, etc

However, I finally bit the bullet and I recently purchased and had my new hot tub installed. I chose Arctic Spas for the quality and details that I feel set them apart from their competition. But one that really appears to stand out is customer service. The responsiveness online of owners groups, which is well participated with Arctic Spas and their dealers is incredible. But that carries into their individual dealers. Arctic Spas Halifax is no exception.

From the purchase (I dealt with Laura). From the get go, she started the conversation with not trying to sell me a tub but understand my needs. What was important, what wasn't. What I felt would be my usage plans. She was also cost sensitive understanding that some nice to have features may be too costly for what I wanted to spend. The buying process was pleasant and Laura was extremely knowledgeable.

Then we get into site preparation. Robin came and did a site visit. Discussed options/plans etc. Needing a crane vs backing truck over lawn to install direct on pad. Option was left to me but I knew all of the options, pros/cons and the no cost option was recommended. I had several follow up conversations via emails, etc and again Laura and Robin were super responsive.

Then came installation. Randy and the team showed up on time, drove all over my lawn (as expected and agreed to) but was very sensitive to minimizing impacts (which were negligible). The guys were great. Did an amazing job of unloading and installing it, setting it up, educating me on operations, etc. Again quality work and quality customer services.

Ran into an issue where my steps weren't with the initial install. Call to the store, and within hours someone was there to drop them off.

Lastly, I've had several questions since the installation. In store support was great when I went in. Also sent some via emails and got quick response and support from Robin and he's following up with the factory.

Do I expect this level of responsiveness and support every single time? NO. But I have two friends who've gone through the same purchasing and installing hot tubs from Arctic Spas Halifax over the past 5-6 months and they have the exact same experience. So perhaps that's the norm? Time will tell but I feel much more confident in the product I purchased and the support I suspect I'll continue to receive from all members of the team.

Just had our tub delivered, and have to say that in an age where quality, direct customer service is becoming a lost art, this outfit excel. We tried a few different places when we were initially shopping, and Arctic Spa was the only place where we felt properly attended to. We didn't know much, and we had a LOT of questions, and the person we dealt with was brilliant. Friendly, informative without making us look dumb, spent AGES with us as we hopped in and out of the various models, left us alone when needed, was right there when we had questions, and not once did we feel pressured or 'hard-sold'. Went back a few more times as we deliberated, and had the exact same excellent, no-pressure experience. Ordering was easy, changes we made were dealt with swiftly, and as for the delivery guys - wow, Kevin and Rob (?) were friendly, knowledgeable, super-helpful, and really focused on getting things exactly as we wanted them. I would like to echo John’s review as it covers much of our experience with Arctic Spas Dartmouth. We did quite a bit of research as well and asked incessant questions via email and in-person and Kris was patient, approachable, professional and always willing to help. His knowledge of their spas helped us choose the right one for us. We bought the Spa Boy with our spa and we love it. The gentler scent and feel on my skin and hair is exactly what I was looking for with my scentiivtiy to scents.

Our spa was delivered last week on one of the coldest days of winter and Kevin & Billy didn’t bat an eye. They were also patient and professional and happy to guide us through the setup and use of the spa. The post purchase service has been equal quality with Kris continuing to answer our few questions about chemicals until we get the hang of it. Don't have enough good words to describe my experience with Arctic Spas in Dartmouth. After meeting with them around Christmas with my wife I decided to get her a replacement tub as a secret present. The showroom personnel were nice and courteous answering the many questions I had and were accommodating to my every request. Kevin and Matt who delivered the tub were fantastic. Set everything up in exactly how I wanted. They were very friendly and the introduction to maintaining the was thorough and complete. My wife was taken back by the surprise but in the 2 days we have had it, she has been in the tub 5 times. Thanks Arctic Spa's!
