The shorter entrance to this pool is actually located down the road toward Rice Lake road, you have to walk down this road (there no parking so you have to street park), go over the bridge, and take the first right after the bridge. It will go down and path and then a lot of stairs before you get to the pool, should take 10 minutes. Some people have accidentally gone down the wrong entrance and done a 1.5 hour hike. Be warned that the water is freezing cold and it is best to go on an extremely warm day. Lots of people cliff diving but there’s also a lot of large stones to relax on and shallow water to swim in.

If you go to Lynn Canyon and are treking around, invarably you will end up that the 30 Foot Pool. It's a great place to stop and take a rest or even go for a swim if you have remembered your costume. There is a section where the young and foolhardy dive into the pool and again, it's a good place to stop and and watch for a while. Had a lovely walk around the pool and it is probably a good idea to remember suitable footwear even in the hot weather.

Gorgeous and easy short hike. Incredible scenery and super clear water. The trail is well maintained and fairly busy due to people wanting to also see the Lynn canyon suspension bridge. There were lots of people in their swimwear sitting in the freezing water and I wish I had mine with me so I could as well! Best part about this area is you only have to pay for parking, the hike and area itself is free!
