Our family had a fun experience at Safari Lights at Safari Niagara. This annual visit has become a family tradition for us over the last 3 years. This year we had 4 carloads taking in the lights a week before Christmas and the visit helped boost our Christmas Spirits. You can’t leave your cars but within our group we texted goofy pictures of ourselves and commented on our favourite and least favourite lights. Although at just under $35 for a carload, it isn’t inexpensive - with 4 people in your car it comes to less than $9/person, so we find that it is worth the price of admission. It was noted though that a person sitting in the middle of 3 people in the back seat might find their view somewhat obstructed. Not all displays were elaborate, but where the displays were more basic, the shear quantity of lights made up for it. The types of displays were varied with some being quite large and original. In all it took about 30 minutes to drive the loop. Yes, you go can see other Christmas light displays at no cost, but Safari Lights allows you to enjoy Christmas lights and accompanying Christmas music, on their dedicated FM frequency, at a more relaxing pace than you would driving along the Niagara Parkway at the Falls.
