Beautiful little water falls surrounded by small forest with 2-4 km trails that are worth exploring. Everyone loved this calm & peaceful place after our 500th trip to overcrowded & super commercialized Niagra Falls.
The drive is around 2 hours from GTA. Entry fee is $10 per car & then you can view the falls which is 1 minute walk to the left of parking. Go down the wooden stairs & into the mini forest to get various views of the falls but be careful, especially with kids, because there are no guard rails here.
On the right side of the parking is a sitting area with shade area & in front of the parking is the entrance to the conservation area which leads to the trails. There is a washroom available here as well.
Take the trail to the right of the washroom. It is around 4 km but you can take the loop back to the area which is a nice & peaceful 10 minute walk through the forest.
Overall, its a short & sweet experience & much needed change of scenery. And there are three other waterfalls in the vicinity! While in the area, do not forget to visit Harrison Park which has...
