Edited review from below: Changed my 3 starts to 4 stars as Corissa reached out from Crosscut in order to understand our experience and provided great above and beyond service. We are looking forward to our next visit. Old review: Visited this distillery for the first time today. Few positive points were the patio space which allowed us to bring our doggo and at first how the server brought water for us and our doggo in a bowl. We ordered the Sunday special which is $5 for 5 spirit flights and vegetable spring rolls with Thai chili sauce. We received our spirit flights pretty quickly and we tried them very fast. We were waiting for the server to come back because we wanted to order 5 more to try other flavours. She came back around 435pm. When we tried to order 5 more sample flights, she said it was their last call was passed and they can't give us anymore. This is unfortunate as if we were informed it was last call, we would have ordered more at first. At this point, we didn't say anything. The upsetting part was how the server asked 2 other clients who were sitting at the patio, who came after us and after we tried to order more, that is was last call and if they need it anything. I went inside the bar to check out their drinks, and the server behind the bar asked another client who was sitting at the stool if they wanted anything since it was the last call. This was at 445pm. We felt that everyone else got a chance to order more with the last call except us. Our spring rolls came out at that time. Few of them were just split open, but even that was ok. We got a take out container to go to make sure we would leave by 5pm since the place was closing. I asked the server if she had a small container for the sauce. She said she's not sure, but she will go check inside. After 5 minutes, she came back outside and just started to put all the stools away, close the umbrellas, and clean up the vacant tables, completely forgetting about the request for a container. It's unfortunate because we would have liked to try others drinks. We did spend $45 dollar to buy a bottle of liquor that we liked from the spirits we did get to try, which we think is overpriced for the size. We left with a feeling that the service could have been better and all clients can be better informed about last call.

We had a wonderful time at Crosscut this afternoon. Reckless (I believe is what his name is), is an outstanding mixologist and host, I showed him a photo of a prior specialty drink they had on their winter menu and he was able to whip up something similar! Did a tasting to decide what bottles to buy and bring home and the selection was incredible! High quality staff and drinks and a 100000/10 atmosphere all around!

Crosscut is my absolute favourite place to go. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff are so personable. The drinks are SPECTACULAR. I am obsessed with everything about this place. Also the manager is my favourite, Corissa is SO kind and I love her vibes so much.

I stopped in after work today to buy some friends some Christmas gifts (the gift of delicious gin and vodka of course). Excellent prices for artisan liquor made local in Sudbury! I must also give top marks for their service. It was clear to me that they’ve carefully chosen who they have serving their customers and that is so essential to a great experience. I walked in and the man behind the bar was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable and encouraged me to try samples of their unique offerings. There is a full range of accompaniments and recommendations for pairings/mixings.

Another customer came in, didn’t acknowledge that I was there and immediately expected the attention of the bartender. The bartender was extremely tactful and respectful to us both. He ensured all my questions were answered and that my purchase was complete before moving on to tend to the next guest.

I give the distillery top top marks. I will absolutely recommend that all locals try their delicious local artisan liquor! A true Sudbury gem. A great Sudbury experience. Give...

Stepping into Crosscut Distillery is like walking into a warm and rustic oasis. The cozy atmosphere immediately draws you in, and the handcrafted details make it feel special.

Our bartender, Reckless, was an absolute rockstar—creative, attentive, and skilled. Every drink was a flavor-packed experience, with all ingredients crafted in-house, making each sip unique. The dill pickle Caesar? Beyond perfect. It exceeded every expectation and might just be the best I’ve ever had.

Even if you’re not drinking alcohol, the mocktails are incredible and worth stopping in for. Whether you’re passing through or a local, this place is a must-visit. From now on, I’ll make it a point to stop by every chance I get. Highly...
