Glow Gardens — Attraction in Halifax

What a bunch of scrooges here . Highly disappointed with the events poorly organized management. They gave out a promo code that they did not make a one time use. The promo code got shared publicly and it handed out 100 tickets from it for families. Email confirmations were sent out to confirm all tickets and then revoked them all. So these families made their plans to go to this extremely over priced event with their kids after a month of them making a killing on the event they were told sorry this was an error. This late in the season they should have honoured the tickets as it is the end of the event or at least tried to have a discounted options to still gain the business of this huge mistake . What a Way to crush the dreams of the kids and their families during the holidays and a shitty end to 2024 . Hopefully you realize this error and do something better about it so that you don’t lose all of your business in 2025 . Now I get to break this news to my family also that we had tickets and now we don’t because we cannot simply afford these overpriced tickets for what it is. Glow halifax...

I wish we knew this existed much sooner! It was an utterly beautiful family experience and we had such a blast! My only real complaint is that the ATM machines went down and some services were still only accepting cash such as the coat holder. I really think this should change because almost everyone was paying with a card and we all ended up having to carry our coats because of it. However we made so many wonderful memories it more than made up for this mild inconvenience. Our toddler loved it and even though we spent well over 6 hours at the event he still didn’t want to go home! Adults and children alike will enjoy this. Lots of games and jumpy castles for kids of all ages, a light up train, hop scotch, Santa, an ice princess and roller blading are all included in the entrance fee which was amazing and made it easy for parents to relax without feeling like we needed to constantly reach into our pockets to entertain them. We took 4 children and 3 adults to Glow at 6pm Friday Jan 27. The venue was over priced with less to offer than when we had gone in previous years (when they first started) and they have diminished their attractions. There was no place for an adult to grab a coffee. The parking was disorganized and chaotic. As a person coming from a lot of experience in the amusement industry, it is EXTREMELY unprofessional and unsafe to have your ride operator hang off the ride after every single ride on your Columbus boat ride while it is in motion. There was no supervision around, and the ministry should be contacted. If your ride needs help to stop, then it should be taken out of service, not stopped by the teenage operator hanging from it and jumping off. I watched it for probably 100 rides.
