Here is my experience at Binbrook; we were there with the family this summer, the water park area was very crowded and the water quality was bad for swimming. Although there was an unsafe for swimming sign near the beach, they still operated the water park.
We spent the day there and in the evening started packing to return home. I loaded our picnic chairs, small table and the dining shelter tucked into its bag on our pull cart. We walked to the parking lot and I started putting all we have in the car. Unfortunately I did not recognize that the dining shelter fell on the way while I was walking to the parking lot. I only paid attention to this when we arrived home. The shelter was missing. It was late evening and I drove back to Binbrook hoping to find the shelter. I looked everywhere but sadly the shelter was not there.
The following day early in the morning I went to see the administration at Binbrook, I had the chance to speak with the staff at their front gate and asked if they have any lost&founds, if anyone saw or brought a dining shelter which I left there the day before. They said no one saw it. I left my phone and that was all.
The bag is lost, no news so far, someone must have liked the idea of having a free dining shelter serving for their comfort in their backyards!!! So ugly.... It was an unpleasant experience at the...
Β Β Β Read moreVery affordable place to come with the family on a hot summer day very nice beach area with lots of conforts nearby including fully operational washrooms and running water to clean up before you go. Barbecue is allowed within the beach area and park grounds. The most important part, water quality excellent really refreshing and the beach itself is very shallow great for the kids and little ones. There is a water inflatable playground you do have to pay $25 and you get 2-hour to jump and play. You can pay with credit card for access to the conservation area and also to buy your playground passes.
The park also has a big water splash playground as well as a fully functional playground for kids too. In addition there is also options such as kayak rental and water skiing I don't know the prices. Overall it was my first visit to this Conservation Area and I am definitely coming back next year throughout the summer well worth it and pretty close to/from Hamilton and 45 minutes...
Β Β Β Read moreThe water was super stinky at Binbrook, they said that it was in very poor water condition and that they would give us a voucher to come back and it could possibly be clean then, kinda hard to tell 3 kids they have to come.back another day so I let them go in the sports splash area along with myself.
I was appalled at how many people were on it and just kept coming. Regardless of the Covid pandemic or not, allowing a TON of adults and kids to be trampled on, because there is no control over the amount of people you guys let on, is nuts.
Maybe have a different booking system or no booking system at all. The amount of people that start all.together isnt fair to the younger kids who actually want to try and accomplish a challenge or really do the course without getting rushed, trampled or hurt by other people.
Very...
