Edit to the original post as I cannot respond to the follow up; Thank you for taking the time to respond.
I appreciate your commitment to responsible service and understand the importance of adhering to Smart Serve guidelines. That said, I’d like to offer some clarity from our side as your post is very accusatory and I do not appreciate your public post and the way you are portraying myself and those I was with that day. Perhaps asking to speak further over the phone or email would have been a more professional way to handle this. This has been an annual gathering for about 15 years and have never run into any concerns or issues. While it’s true we had visited other wineries earlier in the day, at no point did anyone in our group behave inappropriately or pose a safety concern. We were simply a group of women out enjoying the region, and while we may have been enthusiastic, we were certainly not disrespectful or out of control. If the team felt uncomfortable, it would have been helpful to communicate this directly with us at the time — we would have gladly listened and also had an opportunity to clear up any concerns they had. They also would have known that many of us are not huge wine enthusiasts and take this as a day to get out and have fun. We may have come across the wrong way but we are by nature loud due to our varying ethnic backgrounds. To further inform you some of the wineries we visited we don’t taste at as we are in the area and stop in to pick up some favourites not offered at the LCBO. We were surprised by how we were received, especially because we had hoped to end our day on a high note at your winery. It was disappointing to feel judged and unwelcome, particularly without a proper conversation to address any concerns in the moment. We were surprised as we were immediately shut down by one employee and spoken to very rudely while trying to have your other staff member agree with her. Communication is a key part of great service, and unfortunately, we felt that was lacking. We respect that you’re a small, family-run business and wish you continued success. Our intention is never to harm a business’s reputation, but rather to provide honest feedback based on our experience. We do hope that in future similar situations, there’s a more open and respectful approach to how concerns are handled and your customers are treated
Absolutely the worst customer service and rude employees I have encountered! Not accommodating by any means especially to an empty establishment. Will not be back nor...

A new patio area means lots of room to enjoy the wines on offer.
We were fortunate to enjoy a tasting even though we arrived very close to closing time. It was a perfect day to sit on the new patio.
While we came for the Pinot Noir, we started with the Sauvignon Blanc. This is a lovely example with a beautiful nose. Crisp with citrus (lime) and gooseberry. I think the best Sauvignon Blanc I have tried in Ontario.
There is an experimental Sauvignon Blanc that was fermented on skins. An interesting wine with a noticeable tannin that comes across as black tea. Perhaps with food but not to my taste. Certainly worth trying .
We also tried the Petillant Naturel made from 100% Muscat Ottonel. A very interesting wine and very drinkable. A very light carbonation created by in bottle fermentation. A lovely nose and complex flavors. Very floral.
As time was short we tried three Pinot Noirs.
The Fifty is a lovely everyday wine that is what a Pinot should be . Fruit from five different vineyards are used for this wine. Very approachable and a wonderful nose. Raspberry and cherry very noticeable for me and others. Good value.
Next was Pinot Noir Lowrey Vineyard. The nose has some floral/fruit and noticeable mushroom, damp forest floor notes. More fruit on the palate with raspberry and cheery standing out. Fine tannins. The wine spent 16 months in barrel. Another wine that should age but you will probably want to enjoy it sooner.
Finally Pinot Noir Senchuk Vineyard. This is a wine made from hand picked and hand sorted grapes. The quality really shows. Strong cherry on the nose with an earthy note as well. Beautifully balance wine that should age well. Should work well with perhaps lamb or roast duck. Or just sipping on a special occasion.
We had a great guide to the wines and sadly could not try many of the options available. But that just means another trip.
Great staff and great wines. Be...
Read moreFrom the moment we arrived at the vineyard, it was clear this would be an extraordinary experience—not just because of the beautiful setting or the exquisite wine, but because of our incredible host. Our guide, Billy for the day was more than just a sommelier; he was an embodiment of warmth, passion, and knowledge that truly elevated the entire tasting.
As Billy welcomed us with a smile and an easy charm, he began sharing the history of the vineyard with a storyteller's flair. Every glass poured was accompanied by vivid descriptions of the wine's origins, flavor profiles, and the craftsmanship behind each bottle. What really set the experience apart was the personal touch—the host not only tailored the selections to our preferences but also made sure to engage with each guest individually, ensuring everyone felt included and appreciated.
The wines themselves were outstanding, with layers of complexity and depth, but it was our host’s enthusiasm and expertise that made the tasting unforgettable. Billy’s ability to create a relaxed, yet intimate atmosphere was remarkable. Whether they were explaining the subtleties of a bold Cabernet or guiding us through the delicate notes of a Chardonnay, his passion was infectious.
By the end of the tasting, we weren’t just leaving with bottles of our favorite selections—we were leaving with a deeper appreciation for the craft and an unforgettable memory, all thanks to the amazing host - Billy. If you’re looking for a wine tasting that combines exquisite wines with a truly special human connection, this is the...
