Hubbards Beach is a beautiful spot on the Nova Scotia Eastern coast! The beach offers soft sand, gentle waves, and stunning views, making it a great place to spend a summer day. It's clean and family-friendly, with a laid-back vibe that’s perfect for a quiet escape. It is not a long beach so gets crowded. The timing of the beach is 10am - 7pm. You can get the food from Maya’s Fish n chip - walkable 5 mins from the beach. Parking is exactly next to beach. There are portable washrooms next to the parking. You need to pay for the parking at their office near shore club restaurant. *Weekday - $10 *Weekend - $20 Not seen any picnic benches nearby. So carry your seating arrangements. The only downside is that it is bit tricky to find a spot during busy times ! Definitely A solid 4-star destination for beach lovers!"

Hubbards Beach is a Lovely beach with a few downsides. -There is a 10 dollar fee for parking, to visit the beach before 3 pm & 5 dollars after. -The beach is not that big so it can get quite crowded on nice days. -The beach is attached to a campground so there is usually a pretty steady crowd. -The beach is not dog friendly, which for some can be a positive but others not the greatest. -The water is so cold on a hot July day, it actually hurts. Hoping it warms up later in the summer. Hubbards has a lovely sand area and the water is very clear. There are washrooms and change rooms. I enjoy going to this beach a couple times a year.

The best beach to spend a day close to Halifax. Parking right nearby. Opens at 10, but usually they’re ready to go early. Tip: if going early, check the tides before you go. If tide is going out, be sure to plan to move your setup forward throughout the early part of the day so other people coming late don’t setup in front of you. If tide is coming in, don’t setup more than 10 meters from the rocks / dunes or you’ll get waved out.

Hey guys, it's harriet. If you don't know me, I grew up here. My family had a tiny farm house on the beach and we lived here year round. I spent 90% of my time on this beach in the sun, rain, snow, and whatever other weather canada could throw at me. My amazing friends, Ruby, daniëlle, maria, Emma, laurelle and many others grew up here with me. I now live in Ireland and think about this place every day. There was a warf in the middle of the beach that you could swim out to and have a water picnic when you swam out with food on your boogy board. Please visit this beach of you want to make your...
