Got married here at the end of June! My husband and I stayed two nights as well. We had an amazing experience!
The inn: We stayed in the Harnish suite and it was absolutely gorgeous. The room was even better than the photos we saw online. The bed and pillows were comfortable, with extra available in the room if needed. The deck has such a gorgeous view! There’s a coffee maker, coffee pods, and creamer in the room; I loved sitting on the deck, watching the water, enjoying a coffee early in the morning. The heat pump was perfect for summer weather. The bathroom was spacious and clean, and the shower had great pressure. Plus a heat lamp for after the shower??!! So luxurious!
The restaurant: We ate here a month or so prior to the wedding (it was amazing food and amazing service) and then had our wedding dinner here (approximately 25 guests). The service was next level. Honestly, I’ve never been treated so amazingly at a restaurant! The staff were incredibly attentive, supportive, and kind! The food was delicious and hot, and had a great variety so all of our guests were happy. The drink menu is excellent, and all of the (very many) drinks that I tried were delicious! It was a bit of a misty day, but the patio is enclosed and there are lots of heaters so everyone was comfortable :)
The wedding experience: So amazing! I planned with Christine (one of the owners) and she was so helpful and kind and such a delight! She helped make the experience so easy and enjoyable! The location for a small wedding is next level- our photos are amazing! We had the service at the dock in the beer garden and it was perfect :) There’s also a cottage next door (the Lilac cottage) that my in-laws were able to rent through Tuna Blue. The cottage was gorgeous, and having the family next door made planning so easy!
I honestly can’t recommend Tuna Blue enough, rather it’s for dinner, to stay at the end, or for an event. We were treated wonderfully and had an...

My recent visit to Tuna Blue restaurant in Hubbard's, during the final stretch of my vacation, was unfortunately riddled with a string of letdowns. Despite our initial enthusiasm, our experience left us with more disappointments than pleasant memories.
To start, our excitement was dampened when we were directed to outdoor seating, even though indoor tables appeared unoccupied. Nearby, a boisterous group of "Karens" disrupted our peaceful ambience, drinks sloshing about and heavily intoxicated. This insufferable party of people drove a few patrons away while my partner and I waited for service.. The staff's inaction to address this only added to our discomfort. The relentless sun further tested our patience, as we waited for a staggering 35 minutes without anyone taking our order.
Adding to the confusion, we were surprised to learn that food orders had to be placed at the drink bar, a crucial detail that had not been communicated to us. After enduring a grueling wait of one hour and 20 minutes, our fish tacos finally arrived. The overall experience had been far from enjoyable, yet the food quality managed to provide a glimmer of redemption, offsetting some of the prior frustrations.
In conclusion, my visit to Tuna Blue was a mix of highs and lows. While the food managed to salvage some of the experience, the challenges we faced with seating, service, and noise level greatly impacted our overall impression. It's my hope that the restaurant takes these concerns into account, as the potential for a truly enjoyable dining experience is clearly present, but currently overshadowed by certain...
Read moreThe Tuna Blue is a Jimmy Buffett meets Hubbards vibe. Beautiful location with stunning views of Hubbards Cove. The restaurant/beer garden is busy with great food and drinks. ||The Inn part of Tuna Blue falls short. When you arrive at the Inn there is no signage to indicate where to check in. I wandered down to the restaurant to inquire on check in. Luckily we found someone to take care of us.||We were told a complimentary breakfast of muffins, biscuits, yogurt and fresh fruit were included. We went down in the morning to 3 muffins and expired yogurt in the fridge. No cuterly available. We managed to find the chef (who seemed to be the only other person at the Inn) to ask for a spoon. ||In the morning before 11, the Inn is locked up with no one around. I understand it's an Inn; however, one would assume there would be a contact person available. ||The biggest down fall during our stay was listening to an argument between the Management and someone else which included lots of slamming doors - going on for 45 minutes while guests would be sleeping. Not a professional imagine to portray.||I think the Tuna Blue needs to decide which entity is most important, the Jimmy Buffett it's 5 o'clock somewhere vibe or the Inn where guests are paying good money to stay.||One other thing, if you have accessibility issues, this is not the place for you as all rooms are upstairs and the restaurant...
