Lindsay Memorial Park — Attraction in Kawartha Lakes

It's a fun place to take your grandchildren on a picnic. They have swing sets and slides and a circle spinner to turn around on. Its pet friendly . It has picnic tables under a built in roof concept place to eat your lunch at if it's to hot or sunny for you. Lots of trees u can lay a blanket down and have your lunch on a blanket in the shade. The trains are cool, even though you can't enter or climb on them, however the play structure was very unsafe for the kids, many gaps and places to fall. The bathroom facilities were also beyond disgusting and are obviously not maintained by anyone. The lights were out so we had to have someone open the door while using the toilet and then there was soap but no running water...

Kids love to see the trains up close and personal and the playground follows suit with a train theme. Has a tennis court and lots of area to wander, a great spot to enjoy some downtime.
