Ellison Dog Park — Attraction in Kelowna

Two very large, fully enclosed with double gate, dog parks - one for small dogs, the other for large dogs. Trees, bushes, grass, some gravel. Rustic but very nice. Right next to the airport but wasn’t noisy. Clean, no garbage or poop anywhere we saw. Ample parking although a little awkward to get into.

We went for the small dog park with our little one and it started off great. After 5 minutes of play, my little dog noticed a very large dog behind the fence in the large dog area staring at her and very slowly approaching her with head down as if stalking her. No owner in sight. My little one started barking like crazy and we had to leave.

It's pretty big. Porta potty, yes. Small dog space, yes. Secondary fenced space, yes. Trails throughout. It has trees and bushes and open space. Good for families, yes.

I really like this dog park, so far it's my favorite in Kelowna (or just outside) it's pretty and peaceful. It's right by the airport so it's fun if you (or your little ones) like planes there is some added entertainment. Usually there are poo bags available. Lots of parking. One of our favorite parks. Bring dog friendly bug spray though. Has a water tap kind or in the middle. Is very large. Has trails and open areas. There is also a fairly big little dog area. There are a few spots with mud but the place is big enough you can just avoid those areas and still have lots for your dog to explore. A nice double gate entrance. You can even watch planes land...
