We passed through Kirkland Lake on our way to a park and came across this historic place. It was very cool to see a gold mine up close and learn about its history through the papers they had and the videos. The history presented was fascinating, with lots of cool insights into the area's mining past. However, we did find that children in the 10-14 age range got bored relatively quickly.
