Florence Lake — Attraction in Langford

Nice lake in amongst the city. I have walked by there a few times and have seen plenty of birds along the water. A walkway near the south end brings you right over the water. Just be careful after heavy rains because it does flood here. There is a walk out dock with a ladder for swimming and a floating dock out in the water. You should walk the entire path along side this little lake fro near the entrance to the mobile home park at the far end of the lake to the path that cuts across the corner of the road and then walk down the road to the boardwalk that goes across the end of the lake. Florence Lake is such a peaceful spot, and I feel lucky to have it close to home. The view is beautiful and calming, making it a perfect place to relax. Many people come here for fishing or just to enjoy the fresh air, and it’s always refreshing to spend some time by the water.
