enjoyable to stroll- nice secluded areas around the pond and plenty of big old willow trees and maples.

But I do regret the play area they removed years ago to make room for BBq area. Its now desolate and lonely that space when it used to have tall swings and a wooden play hut for kids. The golfing installations now all over the parc are weird-don't understand the interest of playing this.

The old maple that was chopped down-was one of the most beautiful sights that greeted you when you took that path to the left. Now theres a big old stump :( . When you remove an iconic feature- it needs to be replaced please, not left a vaccum or as an eyesore of sadness with a depressing plaque commemorating its past beauty.

For newcomers to the parc- a map of the trails located at the CRDI entrance, or along the trails could give the walker a heads-up about the length of the trails.

It would be nice to have local art sculptures return to the parc...

Hit and miss location. There are exercise stations through the park and plenty of room to walk in a nature settings. The big pond is known for Wood Ducks and there's plenty of photographers enjoying their presence. You also have the ignorant families feeding white bread to ducks and there's an element of danger with juvenile delinquents roaming the park. Lots of drugs, theft and litter.... I wouldn't go alone on a weekday or late in the evening during the...

Pretty but needs cleaning. Lots of trash on ground near picnic tables. Common sense would be to put trash cans closer or more security to stop people from littering.

Lots of trash on ground by bench where the ducks were. I felt bad for them.

Seems like everywhere that had human built seatings were surrounded by garbage. Very depressing and feels neglected and ghetto.

I felt bad bringing my lil nephew to a garbage dump. I don't recommend....

This park offers a lovely open space perfect for outdoor activities such as picnicking, with beautiful trees scattered throughout the area. It's likely even more enjoyable in the summer when the grounds are lush and green. UPDATE: This place is lovely and tranquil, especially in the afternoons, and is kept very clean. While smoking is not allowed in the park, we did come across someone smoking and had to move to avoid the odor.

Great park! Lots of wide open spaces as well as paved routes and trails through the woods. It has a workout route as well with different setups for excerising (however stay off of them for now during covid) It has a little bit of everything. Free parking on both the north and south side of the park. Beware the south side parking lot though. It's mostly unmaitained gravel with giant holes at the moment.
