Le Bordelais — Restaurant in Montreal

We made a reservation for Thursday evening for a relatives birthday. Once seated we all ordered off of the special menu. I had the braised beef. It was served on a bed of mashed potatoes with stewed vegetables and a gravy. My wife had the lamb and we both enjoyed it as well :). The service was prompt and very on the ball. The fresh bread brought to the table was really delicious and oddly the highlight of the meal for me. The atmosphere is clean and classy but felt a bit empty. It was a week night and there were only a few tables other than our own. Overall the flavours on my plate were good and I enjoyed them, they just weren't anything amazing. I found that everyone in our party felt the same. A few dishes such as the salmon and kidneys were overcooked. The meal wasn't overly expensive and for me, was within range for what we had. I had dinner at Restaurant Le Bordelet this past Sunday with my girlfriend, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We were served by Nabil, who delivered fantastic service—attentive, friendly, and professional.

I ordered the prime rib, and she went with one of their seafood dishes. Both were outstanding, but I have to say, the prime rib was probably the best I’ve ever had—cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The food quality truly exceeded our expectations.

We were also really impressed with the renovations. The new look adds a warm, modern touch that enhances the overall dining experience. The ambience was perfect for a relaxed evening out.

We had the most wonderful evening at Le Bordelais Restaurant for our Valentine's dinner. From start to finish, everything was exceptional! The food was absolutely amazing, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Every dish we had was a delight, and it’s clear that the chefs take great pride in their craft.
