Bull Trail Park North — Attraction in Lethbridge

Well mowed grass adjacent to trails lessen risk of encounters with rattlesnakes. Parking lot off University Drive. Benches along the trail. We entered the southern reaches of the park. Two deer close by. Lots of pelican's at the weir. Suggest taking the right fork of the trail and enter University Hall from the Science building link. Take the elevator to the Sixth floor to visit the art gallery, then take elevator to ninth floor. There is a long stairway to the bus link. Love this place. Lots of native wildflowers (if you know where to look, and what you're looking for), and wildlife. Sadly, the people ignore signage indicating no bikes, and walking trails that have been available for decades are now transitioning to muddy bike ruts. If you are looking for a challenge there are some great new stairs near the high level bridge. Just be prepared for some steep sections and erosion on the trail.
