Rouge Valley Park — Attraction in Markham

I love coming here to hike. It has a nice cliff side view that overlooks the river. Absolutely gorgeous. Great for dog walking and it is great exercise. I used to bike here all the time with my friend. I especially love coming here in the fall. The foliage is so stunning and all the different colored leaves are great for photos. The entrance for this park, if there is even an entrance, is very hidden in a residential area with almost no parking. If you are not a resident nearby it's almost impossible to get to. And there are way too many cyclists to be walking around in peace. I am sure the view is beautiful if you get into it, it's just not very visitor-friendly...

gorgeous park with lots of bridges and side path to explore! you can pretty frequently see blue herons and deer in the right places, the pond nearby also has frogs and snakes :D Great for both biking and walking with tons...
